Eastern Blooms Birthday

I copied this card from somewhere... It was fun using my new Circle Scissors Plus. Wow... so easy and makes perfect circles - of any size you want!!! I just love it.

Kiwi Kiss and Pacific point make a bright, cheery combination. The scallop circle is made with a die and the Big Shot machine.

Another version of Heartfelt Thanks

Here is another version of watercolouring with Heartfelt Thanks stamp set.
It looks a bit weird in the photo, but the top flower actually can spin around in the scalloped opening. Then there is a piece of Elegant Eggplant card stock on the inside of the card. On the photo, you can't see the pretty dazzling diamonds on the top flower - very pretty. 

Now, you might wonder why a "Thank You" card on Good Friday.... I could have put an Easter card, but a thank you card is appropriate too. I am incredibly thankful that Jesus came to earth to die for my sins. He took the punishment that I deserve - no words, no cards can really express my gratitude.

Watercolouring with Heartfelt Thanks

 I love using the Watercolor Wonder Crayons from Stampin' Up! They give a rich colour that just glides on the paper. I used Stampin' Up!'s watercolor paper for this card also.

In fact it is one of the cards we will be making at the watercolouring for cards class on Wednesday, April 15. We will make two other cards using various watercoloring technique.

Heartfelt Thanks stamp set uses a two-step stamping technique. The stamp makes me look like an artist.... I love it. Come back soon for another card with this stamp set.

Lovely as a Tree in a more summery scene

I copied this card from Michelle Zindorf. She makes amazing cards and gives tutorials for them too... So I followed the tutorial and made my own card.

It was quite fun to make. The sky portion is made with the brayer. The other colours are sponged along a mask. The tree was stamped first using Mellow Moss Craft stampin' pad and embossed with clear emboss powder.
