Another Club Card

We first practiced the color spritzer tool on this card at club the other night. You can't see too well on the photo, but the mellow moss layer has been sprayed with the tool. It gives that layer a subtle but neat effect.

We used markers to colour in the Fresh Cut stamp.

Club is a very fun way to learn some new techniques and make friends. Another one is starting in July and will run until December.

Fun at Club With the Color Spritzer Tool

We had a lot of fun at club night playing with the color spritzer tool. You insert a marker into the tool and then spray dots of ink on  your page.
The fun is to work with what you get.

Another club will start in July and run until December. When you join the club:

The new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue will start on July 1 and a number of stamp sets will be gone forever - being replaced by new ones.

Stampin' Up! will release the list of the stamp sets that will be gone forever on June 1. Can you guess which stamp sets will be on that list?

I need to have your list by Friday, May 29 at 5:00 pm (Prince George time).

Bear 'Under the Stars'

Well, bears are awake and visiting our neighbourhood... However, this gift jar is "beary" cute when you add a little ribbon, watercoloring, and Designer Series paper. So give someone a bear hug with a jar of your favorite chili or salsa recipe!

Stamping with Bleach

Spring cleaning? time to use bleach... However, using bleach on cards is a lot more fun than cleaning...
For this card I made an "ink" pad using paper towels and some bleach. It took some trial and error to find the right amount of bleach so the stamped image would show up the way I wanted. Experiment - it's fun. Just make sure to rinse your stamp under water right away and then condition it again with the Stampin' Mist.
