Just punch scallop circles in your favourite colour. Then count 3 or 4 scallops (depending if you want a fat tree or a skinny one). Then mark the middle at the top of the circle. Fold into a triangle. You will need to trim a bit to make it fit.
I made the hills with the cutter tool. It has a really cool small wheel that is ideal for that. Just roll away and you get great curves on your card stock.
