My grandson Luke loves texture. He has worn out the books we have given him that have various textures (like the soft tail of the cat and its rough tongue).

This easy Valentine card has some fun texture to it also. It's amazing what running a piece of card stock through an embossing folder will do! People who have attended my parties recently have made this easy valentine card and loved the simplicity of it.

Season of Joy

I have been making Christmas cards for a while and wanted to share with you  this one. We made it at the last card class. I love using non traditional colours, especially blue. And the Season of Joy stamp set is so versatile. I will have more cards made with this set to show you later.

I used Marina Mist and Soft Suede on this card and I love this combination.

Here is a sample with more traditional colours. What do you think of the bow? No tying with this one! Only crisscrossing and then a brad.
